About the data: the parks come from OpenStreetMap, maintained by volunteers. Most dog areas in Spain have no registered name, and for many it is not recorded whether they are fenced or lit. Where a fact is not recorded, it does not appear here: we would rather leave it out than invent it. Tell us if something is missing.

Barcelona has 103 registered dog areas. 66 of them sit inside larger green spaces such as Parc de les Corts, Jardins de Can Miralletes and Parc del Turó del Putxet, while the other 37 are street-side sites.
OpenStreetMap records details for 28 of the 103: 24 as fenced, 3 as lit, 15 as step-free and 5 with a sand surface. Nothing is recorded for the remaining 75 — which does not mean they lack these things, only that nobody has mapped them yet.
